Just file a lawsuit against them declaring you were "bullied" by the camera.

Samsara sucks!!!! Ours came with the driver facing camera covered....but, our company has the speed coaching set to 75 mph. I have just touched 75 and already slowed down but still got the -bing-"please reduce speed". Someone cuts you off and don't decelerate fast enough - bing "reduce following distance"...if you don't react fast enough again it chimes and #####es at you repeatedly. I recently found out when it coaches you, they get an allert at the office and when they play it back, they said most of the drivers were cussing it out, and using some very offensive language. I personally use it for my soap box. If I have a beef with something the company had done to piss me off...I trigger it to chime, then turn lose a rant about the bullcrap they're pulling. If they don't like it, they can fix the problem, stop listening to my personal chats with myself or fire me.

My biggest complaint is more about the Samsara ELD app on the tablet that is tied to the camera. It is only a matter of time before I put my fist thru the screen.... SAMSARA IS TOTAL JUNK.

I have Samsara at ABF and I really dislike it. When I got to my end of line terminal at Williston Vermont it showed me 8.7 miles sw of Montpelier Vt.

You're too late. They already have many a.i. features that will determine if you are distracted, following too closely, over the posted speed limit, hard braking, sharp turns, obstructing the camera and such. The company sets the parameters of how much babysitting they want the cameras to do. It will speak to you when it determines a violation and flag it. Then the safety people will brow beat you and expect you to grovel for eating your sandwich and sipping your coffee while driving their truck. Company's have them, they're here.

XPO uses Samsara cameras. They currently will only flag violations for speeding(10 mph over posted limit for greater than 10 sec.)
Hard braking, rollover or crash event, and following to closely for greater than 10 seconds. The nanny voice will warn the driver to increase following distance, or reduce speed every second up to ten seconds, then it flags the violations. For the hard braking it just flags the event and records it. Someone I know recently got on the brake a bit hard to avoid hitting a deer in the late hours. He may have been touching his phone to place a call at that time. He was pulled in and given a written warning about manipulating an electronic device.
