Saw this on Craigslist

3 or 4 k is after fuel and deducts so math is right and he is right about the guys hauling for a carrier for .95 to 1.05 a mile but that's mostly lease operator's (but they get something for deadhead miles which makes the math better but still underpaid ) ... it's really not that bad of a deal I guess ... I work that area and the rates are really good right now and I don't do much for under 3.00 and nothing for under 2.50

 

I just checked the DAT 15 days for dry van average:
Nashville Mkt - Detroit Mkt
15 Day Avg: $1,359
Range: $1,173-$1,428

I always forward the rate confirmation/Load tender to all of the o/o s on my fleet. That keeps everything above board and prevents suspicion and ill will. That should be SOP for any company that uses contractors, especially if the contractor is paid on percentage.

 

I called the number its DUKE transportation van only anybody know anything about them?

 

Any new info on this company? Perhaps somebody that has leased with them? Or is currently leased on to them.

I almost said this must have been written a year ago with those rates. Sure enough then I realized it’s from 2018. lol.

 

Does ANYBODY have any info on this company. I've spoken with them and deal sounds good, but I am unable to document anything. i.e.rates, mileage, pay, etc.
