Schneider alcohol test

Dude, if you can't go a day without drinking, A) Do not get into trucking, B) You're an alcoholic.

 

A few days to be certain. Alcohol is removed from the body over time depending on volume drank. So if I had say half a dozen beer, I wouldn’t want to do a UA the following day, it would be a fail. One beer 8 hours before may be a pass depending on company tolerance.

 

Well in the case of a guy about 5-6 years ago it was not pretty! Just after he finished the first day of orientation he thought all was OK. Went to a bar and got smashed! Had a Georgia State Trooper stop him on the way back to the hotel. I heard he blew a .12 that night! Needless to say, he was sent home!

 

They test for alcohol with a breathalyzer. That’s standard. They don’t do a urinalysis or hair follicle for alcohol.

I test alcohol all the time, have to make sure my beer is cold.

I wouldn’t get completely dismantled the night before, but a beer or two won’t kill you/flunk you

 

Not much of a vodka guy but Tito's is some good stuff for the price. I stick to the darker stuff LOL except rum. Too much Captain back in high school. To this day the smell makes me wanna hurl

Don't even worry about that test. You give a urine sample, they taste test it, and you're good to go.
