Was nice to meet you too man! Glad we got to finally meet up, I'll have to come out this way more often now that it has warmed up...

I'm not having a very productive day either... got up to my pickup in Marion (btw really liked the route you suggested mickeyrat it was MUCH faster than than the one on the QC), sit in line for 30 minutes to get in the gate, then drop my good trailer and as usual pick up a TA94XXXXX trailer, post tripped as NO DEFECTS, like this:

Sitting back at Obetz waiting now... looks like it could be a while, who knows. Least the load has time on it.

It ended up being the trailer that was causing the problem. Somehow it was blowing air into my service line then to the tractor. The air leaking seem to be some protection valve that prevent air going backwards. Kinda feel sorry for it since i took out old hammie and bang on it lol

I was told by the operations manager for Atlanta that you are only credited back idle for cold temperatures and not hot. I think it's a load of crap. I even called and talked to Green Bay and they said the same thing. This is just 1 of numerous reasons that I am short-lived as a company driver. As soon as my wife has her 3 months, I will be buying another truck and going IC.

In extreme cold or heat, our drivers just report the date, idle time, location and temps to the DBL.

Well I gave up on trying to make any time tonight. After several hours the trailer was fixed, but then it started dumping rain and I was just DONE. Backed in and I'm here for another night at Obetz. Called in and had my next preassignment pulled off because I didn't want to be running back to back 620+ mile days rushing to try to get stuff delivered on time. No problem to get this load delivered on time tomorrow in NC then I might go home for a day and head back out.

Ok. 3 days running to the same customer. One which SNI has just been access to again. Thwy ard slow in unloading process and now the load that was due to be ready at 0900 still wasnt at 1030 when I arrived. Couple that with 3 days atraight at 300 miles per day shorts me some money this week. And the have me available for backhaul. What it might be who knows. I get wanting maxamize driving and company earnings but this infringes on my dedicated work tomorrow.

Have two pickups on my current load both of which are in Saint Louis. First appt was at 09:00 and I was out of there in 36 minutes. The second stop, about 4 miles away, doesn't pick up until 13:00. Sitting here as my 14 dwindles away.
