Sounds like you are the new favorite LOL. I ran that afternoon load on Monday and it screwed me for Tuesday. Lucky I have gotten back onto a morning schedule because of the screw over.

Pick up a relay from a truck repair yard. It's always never good picking up a trailer from a repair place. Looks like he rolled it.

They're hiring noobs out of the chicago yard. Hell, some of the most clueless schneider drivers I've seen are intermodal out of chicago. One couldn't even back into the easiest dock ever. Then you get the drivers turning into that shipper at 71st St. And Harlem ave. in bridgeview/Bedford park. Those drivers take that turn at 25 mph easy. No wonder why they are rolling trailers

Yup they are allowing new drivers to jump on intermodal. Even jb wants experience drivers. Maybe I should be a trainer and teach these guys the old fashion way

Cake mix? Muffin mix? Something baking. Had to dig out my bills and find the broken seal. I remember awhile ago I picked up a relay at cedar falls, apparently it was temp sen. Freight. Middle of winter but temp needed to be 25 degrees. Now if you are pulling a dry van and see in big red letters on the bills "temp need to be set at 25" why would you sign the bills? I believe I was the third driver to pull it which went to donation

I used to hit the jackpot hauling reefer sometimes. Walmart was bad about picking random cases to refuse. Well the shipper didn't want to bother with a few cases, so I would bring home all kinds of food product. I remember 1 time bringing home about 100lbs of pork ribs. Unfortunately, we didn't have a chest freezer, but it made us very popular with the neighbors.
