I have seen a very large amount of outside carriers or O/Op's (and not Schneider IC's) hauling Schneider trailers lately. Are we that short on drivers? Anyone else noticing this?

Depends on driver availability and freight demands. I've seen a a few occasions lately schneider tractors pulling Estes doubles in Wisconsin. If they can't get a driver to do the load they'll just broker it out. Could also explain why they are pushing hard for IC's right now.

So about ten hazmat placards used as a trailer roof repair. Inventive, I'll give them that. Pic when I get home.

Sitting here going on 3 hours for what was supposed to be a drop & hook, and still waiting for a door. Live unload, of course. Next pickup is literally less than 7 miles away, and fortunately I can park there since they closed half an hour ago...open at 0800, according to workflow. Then, back to the Chicago area (ugh. I strongly dislike driving up there. VERY strongly dislike it, as a matter of fact.)
