Enjoy your new adventure who knows maybe one day Harley Davidson will pay drivers to RIDE the bikes to the dealerships and we can all apply for that job..............
I can't hit the broad side of a barn from the inside with an arrow, unless I throw it from about 3 feet away...
This is a first for me. Just had a lot lizard knock on my door asking me if I was looking for some fun tonight. I politely declined.
Saw my first (and only, so far) lot lizard just south of Cleveland at the Peelot. She wasn't bad looking, must have either been new at it, or a cop. She didn't bother my truck, was just bouncing around the lot. Not real bright, though, to be bouncing around in front of moving trucks... Oh, and I'm home for the night. Sorry I missed you, TruckerPatrick, and SteveP.
No worries. I have yet to run into any SNI TTR out on the road. Maybe someday. Tomorrow should be "fun". Going back to the shipper per SNI to tell them that I can make my tandem axles legal without violating the bridge law in IN and IL (gross weight is good). I've never had this happen before. I wonder what they'll say.
they'll say we'll fit you in where we can so hang tight then call SNI and have them call shipper to speed it up.
Yep. Got a gig with a local-ish company, pulling tankers. More money, more home time, NO JILL!!, and (I dunno if I mentioned this before) the dispatch supervisor is well aware of all the motorcycle club functions at which my presence is required, since he is the Sergeant At Arms (SAA, or - in his case - Esse) for the chapter in which my old man is P... No, I will not be working directly for him - that would be way too weird. Won't have anything to do with him at all, usually.
