Newbie question: Does Schneider pay you to look for trailers? Or do you do this for free when you're a Company Driver?
    Thank you for your help!

You get paid your mileage rate to chase empties. If you show up at 2 places and there are no empties, each additional stop after 2 is supposed to pay $15 per additional stop plus mileage for "excess box search"

Mileage rate for both loaded and empty. You get paid basically for everywhere they tell you to go. Even to drive to a shop for repair. I was south of Indy with the whole tail lights out. Was heading to Chicago so Indy oc was right in the way. I just message dispatch saying I'm stopping by Indy for repairs then boom they gave me a routing point.

I/c drivers get paid after a certain amount of miles searching

Have a message out to my ICA about this, but I thought I'd throw this question out here in case anyone else runs into this problem. I'm looking at a load that has 3 stops. First one is "P" (pickup), second stop is "O", third stop is "D" (Delivery). Anyone know what the hell "O" is? It's a load going from San Jose, CA to Loveland, CO, with a stop off in Albuquerque, NM. I'm guessing it's a routing point that they want us to follow and take the southerly route.
