Little black and white one?
Rec overweight on axle ticket this morning. For being at 31k on that axle group.
This was news to my office. And another driver I saw later. First account driver to get pulled over since we have been going to that shipper. I saw the overhead sign earlier in the week.
In my considered opinion maps that show this should get issued to those who run there regularly.
On its face the ticket is for 3200 dollars. Deputy states "it will be lower when you go to court" wtf. -
Once you get off the interstates they're on county roads same size as speed limit signs

Title: Spring Weight Restriction # 4
Effective March 18th, 2015 weight restrictions will be imposed and enforced on all state trunkline highways within the State of Michigan, both Upper and Lower Peninsulas. State trunkline highways typically carry M, I, or US designations.
Weight restriction information and updates may be obtained by calling 1-800-787-8960. For companies located in Canada or New Jersey, information may be obtained by calling 517-373-6256.
- On routes designated as "All Season Routes" (green or gold on the MDOT Truck Operators Map) there will be no reduction in legal axle weight.
- On routes designated as "Seasonal" (solid or dashed red on the MDOT Truck Operators Map) there will be a weight reduction of 25% for rigid pavements and 35% for flexible pavements.
Extended permits will be valid for oversize only in the weight restricted area.
Single trip permits will not be issued for overweight loads or loads exceeding 14 feet in width, 11 axles and 150 feet in overall length in the weight restricted area.
Detailed Weight Restriction information may be obtained by linking to www.michigan.gov/truckers. Please refer to the MDOT Truck Operator's Map for route designations.stevep1977 Thanks this. -

gentleroger, mickimause, 91B20H8 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Dude was camped right at the start of the restriction for that street. JUST south of several places that get trucks.
Ultimately it WAS my responsibility as the driver. I am surprised however that NO ONE knew about this law at my office after delivering there for 5-6 yrs. Following navigo(surprised there was/is no change while this is on) same way I came in earlier in the week.
So the way to go is up a mile or so to 94. just means a few MORE unpaid miles at this company.
Not sure how much but was told in passing with the boss they will help with it.91B20H8 Thanks this.
