This all started with one of your monkey's telling me that your 90 day evaluations are DOT policy. That the way they want you to log are DOT policy, and they are full of crap.
The job gives me kick around spending money, so I'm not spending my operating capital, and the few magical weeks I need for the year.
Now as long as you asked, you guys think this is a good set up, simply have never seen or experienced a good set up, or a good paycheck.

chill with the monkey ####. he was neither advocating for nor agreeing with to my recollection. he then did as asked and provided the reg thats vague enough to have that interpretation.

the two you so readily call monkeys have spent some time offering their experience and understanding about company policy. doesnt mean they agree.

as you describe things , theres some shady #### going on thats well over and above what our collective company driver experience is. that would be sqt check ride at end of orientation. 90 days (or so)of probation/temp dbl driving then check ride. after that annual only unless a drivers behaviors or incidents bring them in for more "training".

affect postive change for those that stay after you move on to better things. kick this #### up stairs, frankly to me it sounds like dbl or apm or oc manager is stepping outside of their little place in the world.

If your time was spent here elevating others with your "vast expertise " instead of belittling others ,your credentials would stand out.

Instead, your egotistical demeanor will never carry weight no matter your perfection, performance, or income level.

Here lets do this. This is my typical pay where I ran, and where I will run again someday, in fact dude can even get me home 3 days a week, but I can't even be gone that long.

Back $525.00 out of this for truck payment. Home for 34 on weekend, and my boss didn't steal half the fuel discount. I made a few hundred more at the other place but had to be gone for 2 to 3 weeks at a time.
So, you all enjoy your time at mega, be very good drivers and follow all their rules.
You enjoy leaving 40 or 50 grand on the table every year. Maybe some day I'll be smart like you. :)
Yea that's weekly. No QC, 10 maybe 15 minutes a week at the office. OH and they pay nicely for passed DOT inspections as well.
This after fuel, and all the blue sky.
Good luck, live long and prosper.

OK now I shall never darken your chat thread again. Bye bye.

Mod's you can lock me out now, I'm not worthy of this thread.

Here's a snap shot of my latest statement.
As you can see I don't use SNI's fuel discount.
So after they take there cut.
    Then NASTC fuel=$743.33
Net to me(before taxes which I pay quarterly)=$3178.41
I have a truck payment which I make monthly and I put back for maintenance.
Monday thru Friday off on weekends..this is with rates as they are.
    Wha-what?!
Guess the MEGA isn't all that bad.
Just saying there's 2 sides to every coin..

If I go back to sni, it would be a trainer, osr or something part of training, or desk job. Chicago yard is near my house and I rather stick with transportation jobs

Whoa. Alot has happened since I checked this thread yesterday. All I know is that I got paid $30 when I did my 90 day evaluation a few months ago. Start to finish, it was all of 45 minutes. The OSR was way laid back and he came to our office. I didn't have to do 150 miles to get to Obetz and back just for that. So 30 bucks in 45 minutes? They can give me a eval every 30 days for all I care. That's big money for a driver that makes .33 cpm.

What's the big deal about 2700$ before taxes, fuel, truck insurance, personal health insurance, 401k and 6% matching, life insurance, disability insurance, etc.
I net 1100$ after my company pays for the aforementioned and if my truck breaks down Penske brings me a new one at no cost. If I miss a week of work due to illness I don't worry about my truck payment; don't have a truck payment. I'm a fleet monkey and happy to be one.
High and mighty yes but making a killing at 2700$ gross...?
    Hommie don't play that.
