I didn't back into the yellow pole; If I do i would have felt it or hear the noise. The pole is already broken when I first parked there. later it came a letter accusing me breaking the yellow pole.
The gate. I DIDN'T even touch the gate; no damages AT ALL. but still, this guard wants to report it. -
If there is no proof you hit the gate or the pole, and you denied hitting either, then they wouldn't count. If you didn't take the proper steps to ensure you weren't charged, then that's on you.
I know SNI is a real PIA when it comes to these incidents, but its something you have to deal with or not work here.
Trucking companies are targets for fraudulent claims, so take steps to protect yourself.
It might be a good idea to talk with other drivers and contractors before you have a problem. Not knowing about major changes on the IC side and being a brand new forum member made you unbelievable. -
No I've never hit anything at a customer and besides you should have taken pictures of everything once you were accused

hence the quarterly check rides........me thinks the dude had at least 2 instances where he tore up somebody's fence or whatever and didn't say anything to anyone. Also, it seems like maybe the check rides weren't entirely successful.
Brother, 2 things........#1. don't ever let someone else be the first to tell what happened. If you hit someone's stuff, go tell them and offer to pay. Schneider never needs (or wants) to know about it. #2. an accident is an accident. Most of us have scratched a thing or two and have had to pay the price. But, whenever you hit and run, there's no excuses and no forgiveness and you're always wrong.
Good luck. The up side is that I don't think SNI reports these things because, technically, you don't work for them. Before I did anything else, I'd order up a DAC report to see what it says on there......then you'll know what to beg forgiveness for, and what to keep to yourself.PoleCrusher Thanks this. -
anyone heard anything about their program yet and are there any other outfits you think will follow? I've heard western express does but not sure i care to know much about theirs.
-
Western Express does not have a self dispatching program
-
it may have been pick from whats available from a dispatcher but the ad said choose your own loads, rate 1.60-2.25 and also said company pays 100% of your fuel costs which sounded crazy but i haven't heard or seen anything about it other than the ads that say choose your own loads so thats why i brought them up.
-
ummmmm.........sounds great! Sign me up!

I seen that ad also, I just assumed it was a misprint and they mean surcharge
