Yea, the way our bonus is set up its almost not worth trying to make it, they get ya coming or going, I've figured also I won't be getting a raise anytime soon, or ever at the rate it's going.

 

so 50K a year and home nightly is a decent living on dedicated?
I'm sure Ike would love to ask you the same but more per year.

 

What account is that? It certainly isn't the norm.

You tell me, what's the "sign on bonus" all about? Schneiders such nice folks their willing to just have out money?

 

i live within 50 miles of the DG DC in Bessemer,Al. what would my home time be?I`m trying to decide between SNI or Werner.

 

the one I just left tops out at 55K and the one I'm on now tops at 51K.

As far as sign on bonus's go, show me a major who isnt offering one for just about any job.

 

Sure, US Express, Werner, Schneider, pretty much any carrier that advertises and begs for drivers. There is a reason the offer sign on's and even bigger reasons why no one sees them paid in full. Cherish that account you're on driver, Schneider bids and loses these things constantly and they take on some pretty drastic measures at the expense of the drivers to keep them. Ride it while you can. BTW these things matter because a screwed over driver will happily work for chump change as long as it's a few cents more than the bottom feeder. Great strategy to keep wages in the crapper.

 

Delivering how?, is it all hand unload? because that's what we did, no hand truck or pallet jacks you had to break down pallets in the trailer and throw freight onto rollers, you handle every single box in that 53' trailer.

 

Is SNI going to replace the Orange tractors with White ones? If so, why? The white tractors do not look as good with orange trailers.
Or is the White tractors for DG Account only.

SNI driver told me today that SNI was better than Werner, says SNI drivers do not work much on Saturdays or any at all. How true is this?
I live 60 miles from the DG DC, he said i would probably get home more.
