Boogers , one element missing in this is what was the humidity level when it was 77? hmm? Was it a bright sunny day? hmmm?
been to Atlanta OC once when I was with TE. Not a fan of it. Tight and cramped. -
Why would a driver pay $30 dollars a night to save Schneider money when they are only bringing home $400-500 dollars a week? I have read several posters on here stating that is about what they are bringing home weekly. Schneider needs to stick it and offer their drivers options to stay cool. They didn't care years ago and they never will.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but 12 years ago at Schneider those of us that were running system brought home $700-$900 dollars a week. Again several people say here on TR that $400-$600 weekly gross is about normal. So Schneider will never give you more. YOU will give them more and they will take more. They have reduced wages over the last ten years and yet they want to harp on these guys for their idle. -

there are other options ......... If they cared to deal with driver comfort. I've heard the euro trucks have dealt with idle/cooling issue. -
The wussification of America according to a guy who gets his spring days so easily interrupted.

Exactly, I am not idling to hurt Schneider. I am idling for comfort, I would utilize any tool they give me as long as I can stay comfortable.
