Intermodal drivers with Schneider ... What's the weekly pay on average (after taxes)? That's all I want to know. Thanks!
- P.S in my area they're claiming top drivers earn up to $98,000 and Average pay: $1,580 - $1,930 weekly

Do you understand that what you said top drivers only make 98k? What I mean we had a list in the last big company I was in top 10 out of like 600 out those only 10 made the top pay was 100k the rest the numbers dropped off fast and what I understood many only made 60-70k and there's also the underachievers while they aren't the cream of the crop drivers companies sometimes rather have them and butts in seats and show up then new drivers to possible train and spend money.
Lastly, your numbers do not add up unless you forgot to mention some accessory or something pay the weekly pay of 1580-1930 doesn't make 98k. Some basic math shows that a conservative number using $1580 is little over 75k the higher using $1930 is obviously 92k and some change. If you make 2k weekly you get 96k so that number is off I have no idea what involved in that field I hear its pretty fast hustle maybe I heard wrong but for all that effort I would rather go oil field and make 98k easy I was making at the start my oil field area 2100 ending towards 2800 weekly but I worked hard and long hours for that.Trucker-Pilot Thanks this. -
I work for PAM right now making $580 - $850 a week -
Intermodal is usually the cheapest freight ever to haul so I personally think Schneider is FOS with those numbers. Please come back and update this thread after you've been there a little while and tell us your numbers.

You can’t make an intelligent or accurate decision on net (after tax ) pay the only accurate way to compare is based on gross

When I worked for them in 2017-2019 pay would be all over the place. Really depends on the train coming in with loads or empties. Some days you come in at 7am and be off at noon. I had a few 1500-1800 checks but most were 1,000-1300 range and some weeks were only 600-800. This is the Savannah,Ga-Jacksonville, fl area. Only thing i liked was it was local and I had a good home life but the pay could have been better.
