Schneider Intermodal

Weird the recruiter told me today they allow APUs.

 

Sure if you have an APU on your truck, the don't have APUs on the intermodal fleet trucks, only an Espar heater for winter.

 

Do they have AC at least? That is something I will need.

 

They have an a A/C system called the 260 system. Two windows rolled down at 60MPH. Yes they have A/C.

 

haha oh man..I have no clue who to begin driving with..

Maybe I will go with Gordon. They have AC, APUs..even make drives up to Canada.

 

Now I'm talking Schneider intermodal, which is a totally different division then there regular van division. In there Van division in the newer trucks they do have battery powered APUs. Where do you live? They company I drive for now takes new drivers, there out of Fargo, ND.......Magnum.

Wait since when we can't have plug in coolers? They haven't mention that and I been having 1 since day 1 with schnieder. Then again we r in different regions, I know out east they get accessories pay and here in the Midwest we dont. Also our new payscale doesn't show up till the fall, and we actually got a raise. I still think driver out easy gets paid better than us

 

Well in Charlotte having a plug in cooler was a big no no. The guys running out of Charlotte are already on the new pay system and they are bringing home less each week.

 

Whats the new pay? Last time I talked to a couple Schneider guys they seemed ok with the pay. Granted that was 6 months ago. It beats the crap out of JB Hunt (pathetic in Charlotte and no I don't drive for them).
