Everything of course changes. I worked for Schneider national bulk carriers (when that was a thing. Now it’s all under Schneider umbrella) I can say I was never shorted. But that was 2014. Lot changes.
I still got a new never worn hat that says Schneider Bulk.
I quit cause my dbl left and they put me with a kid that actually said it wasn’t his job to keep us moving, when he was our go between for dispatch and after 1.5 months on the road and a restart after every load I quit.
Schneider is Awesome!

Hopefully your experience with Crete will be outstanding and you can put all of this behind you. Be safe in your new endeavors.Mega Express Thanks this. -
Did you choose to drive a tanker and was it a good experience? Has it helped your career or would you have chosen a different path? My son drove tanker for Schneider but the account required a chem suit which made the work miserable especially in the summers. He really liked his boss and he appreciated the experience in general. Maybe he would have stayed longer had he been on a different account. -
It happens everyday in the truckin business. They'll just claim its a truck cleaning fee yadda yadda and you sign a mountain if paperwork in orientation so one of those forms agreed to said fee etc.Mega Express Thanks this.

Yeah I'm over it. The first time I quit, the only time I took home time and the second time I quit, all those checks were missing money. $1600 in total.

I'm quite happy with my new company so far. My smallest check here has been considerably larger than my biggest check from Schneider. It is what it is.firemedic2816 Thanks this.

I gotta better job. They closed that terminal 5 years later though. now I pull hoppers/dryvans.
I liked the other tanker job, no unloading. You hooked the hose/fittings to your tank, they unloaded.
At schooners that chem suit a few times. Rubber boots, full chem suit, plus hardhat, face shield and respirator. Suit taped even. 105, dunno heat index.
Sometimes it suckedkemosabi49 Thanks this.
