I really couldn't tell you. I was a contractor for Schneider and I basically got the overflow.
That said, I think most dedicated routes run about $1200 a week.

okay that’s better than PAM who pays $0.30 per mile and MAYBE you’ll achieve the performance bonus which pays $0.10 extra per mile.

The checks are like $600 after taxes and away from home for 3 - 4 weeks at a time.

Schneider let me come in as an experienced driver since I already had 90 days. If I had less than I would have had to go out with a trainer again as if I had basically no experience. Just food for thought.

Should I stick it out another 2 months, making $600 a week to avoid the training with Schneider?

or apply to Schneider now and just suck it up with the training, but start earning more sooner?

I wouldn’t want to go out with a trainer again, unless I felt like it would be necessary for my career. I would stay until that 90 days is up. Keep a good attitude, and forget about the money. Otherwise it’s just going to piss you off. Just write it off as educational expenses. At least you’re getting paid something. 90 days really isn’t very long. And you can start communicating with a recruiter when you’re about 3 weeks away from 90 days, that’s what I did. And then when you quit, you need to be as professional as possible and transfer smoothly and quietly. All these companies talk to each other, and can put things on your DAC that will effect your career.

    No, just pull the trigger.

Training is only 3 weeks, with just 1 week on the road. Compared to 8 weeks of lousy checks.

I also guarantee the orientation will be useful for you. At least you'll polish some skills, more likely you'll pick up a bunch of new things.

Did PAM hire you right out of CDL school? If so, how long did you spend out with a trainer before being on your own?

Many of their tanker positions do no require experience, just the proper endorsements before being hired. Difficult? Depends on your area.
