I was at the Neville Island tank wash in pittsburgh earlier this week and I saw 2 brand spankin new SNI sand cans sitting there, looked like they had steel discharge pipes on the bottom, is it possible they could be looking to haul frac sand with them?!:biggrin_25523:

They already are out here in the west. They ate using Schlumberger's equipment and just supplying drivers.

Wait until Schneider starts supplying Pilots to the airlines. They'll work for $350 bucks a week. :biggrin_2559:

Logan I saw 5 of them heading west on 22 on Thursday and thought "Well there goes the money:biggrin_25521:" Guess those Oakley guys are going to have to go somewhere else to find the big pay. But seriously, if you read any of the ads for those Schneider sand haulers they're offering 65-70K per year, so they must not be cutting rate too much to be paying company guys that kind of bank.

Seems a lot of bigger companies are moving to sand. I seen Wooster Motor Ways going through town all the time now. This started a few weeks ago. These companies are spending a large amount of coin for these brand new tanks...

I'd like to start hauling sand as I can make probably x2 or x3 the amount I'm making now hauling cement.

The ads lie. Schneiders own website says "up to $60,000 a year" Not everyone is going to make $60,000 grand a year. That's chump change compared to what some members say they have been making here.

Yes! SNI is entering the frac / crude market. Like he said, they have already been in the rent a driver business...... and I doubt SNI is going to let you make 60 plus. It's not in their driver model.

I could be wrong but a tiger generally don't change his stripes.....

It's $57,200 salaried to start in one location, and it further depends on WHERE you work in Texas.
