Yeah disregard that nonsense. A safety person at Schneider who has never driven a truck in their life doesn’t make up traffic laws. Do what’s safe and legal and use common sense.

there were mega drivers telling me the company told them to hang in the middle lane 15 yrs ago.

some thing like. 'be the stone in the river and let the traffic flow around you", or some such nonsense

I think Knight takes the cake with their “Passing Side / Suicide” on the trailer. Passed one on the right and he yelled at me on the CB (shocked that a Knight driver would use a CB) He said “Can’t you read those signs on my trailer? You’re not supposed to pass on the right!” I said “You’re not supposed to be camping out in the middle lane, but here we are.”

It's probably an accountant. Stating sni has more accidents in the right lane than any other. So let's go middle lane.

Well I took this advice and used it yesterday and guess what? Didn’t get honked at once. Caused zero accidents. Drove safely, was patient, and courteous. Used the middle lane sparingly. Even passed a couple trucks using the middle lane. You better believe whenever I pass a truck I’m yelling out YOU JUST GOT PASSED UP BY SCHNEIDER! Doing my full 65 MPH over here! And by the way I don’t think I’ve ever been honked at before except my very first day driving OTR with my trainer and I didn’t even really deserve that one.

Sounds like he’s been driving for a total of about 14 minutes.
