Are u sure the fitting can't be replaced? I have never seen a bag with a fixed fitting, seems like a bad design, spend $500 on an airbag and when a 2 cent O ring wears out you have to throw the back away.
I would only be buying bags with removable fittings.

If a bad quick connect or airline to a cab air bag keeps the truck from moving, then I'd say the truck needs a different driver. There are several ways to safely bypass or bandaid something like that to get the load delivered and truck to a shop or home.Rideandrepair, D.Tibbitt and BoxCarKidd Thank this.

I surrender!
Young man at my place was working on connectors on a group of plastic valves. They were on a Freightliner cross member in front of the 5th wheel. He fixed about 3 or four of them piddling with standard and metric o-rings. The last one did not work out and pored air. Had to buy that little valve for about $150. So he saved them about $350?
Changing the subject on you but I have been picking up brunettes lately. I thank their sexy! No not the lot lizard kind this kind.
What says you?Rideandrepair, Cattleman84 and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -

I says, the one alone in the middle, head high and staring at the camera has high pins and looks to be a little flighty, keep an eye on her while loading and unloading. The one with the ####ty backside has good wide pins. The one on the left turning away looks to have very recently weaned her calf. And about 30% of them all look to be just a might on the thin side. 2nd calf heifers?BoxCarKidd and Rideandrepair Thank this.

Ah ha! Cab air bag. I missed that part. I wonder if he put an insert/sleeve used with compression fittings into the airline if it would help. Maybe a little heat on the line, before installing it. Sounds like it’s a defect. Maybe dried up orings. Maybe some brake fluid applied with a q tip. Swell the o rings up.Cattleman84, BoxCarKidd, D.Tibbitt and 1 other person Thank this.

I says you really are a cattleman. It is not just a cool screen name.Rideandrepair and Cattleman84 Thank this.

Lol... No not just a screen name. I grew up ranching and farming. Cowboyed full time for a few years in my late 20s to early 30s. But quickly realized it didnt pay enough to support the family I wanted to start. I dont know as much as id like, but enough to tend cattle and fence mostly on my own.Rideandrepair and BoxCarKidd Thank this.
