    install a roof rack and put the third passenger up there with bungee cords

    yeah so does mine. Just trying to figure out how to best use it for sitting up. Plus the upper bunk when folded gets in his way. The bunk comes down to the height of his shoulders, so he can't lean all the way back against the wall.
