    How about time frame?
How long is contract good for 1 year?
    6 months?
How long do you have to get the 25k gallons hauled to your storage tank?

Bean Jr., tscottme and compassfile Thank this.

    Thanks Cat sdp.

    I will not.
I am going to cover it with Options. So, if prices went up, I will not give you Fuel Gallons, I will only pay the difference.

You're looking for a way to make some money off of truckers, right? Instead of this ridiculous fly by night
fuel scheme why don't you come up with something to help them make more money.
We have sleazy people signing on TTR every day with schemes like yours whose primary goal is to seperate some hard working people from their money.
We've let this thread run to see if you're any different than the rest of the snake oil salesmen that pass through here and to see what the drivers thought of your idea.
The profit margin in this business is tight enough now and gambling on fuel futures won't pay off.
So, spare us the idea that you're doing this out of the goodness of your heart and you have our well being as your principle reward.
Find a way to get rates up and operating expenses down...find a way that actually works...until then leave these people alone.

    Thanks Judge.

So far it is the "proposed" is 1 year.
You select the state, on current price. If the price goes up in this state I pay the difference.

I will not haul any fuel.
So, if prices went up, I will not give you Fuel Gallons, I will only pay the difference.

How is getting people to pay up front for contracted gallons better than what is already available through existing discount programs to anyone driving a truck?

How is the price determined? How does the purchasing of fuel happen? I contract with you for $3 a gallon and I roll into the Pilot and it’s $5, then what? I pay the pump price and wait for you to hold up your end of the deal and send me the $2 per gallon difference?

Bean Jr., tscottme, JoeyJunk and 3 others Thank this.

You wrote in "your State" drivers who run OTR fuel in multiple states. Do you have any experience in trucking?
