Sell it. Agree with everyone else. If it was old iron I'd say hold on but it's not

Sell it! It's like the stock market lol. It will lose value quickly as it sits.

I say sell. Good luck finding a qualified/quality driver. The longer it sits, the more it costs you. A small company simply can't compete now. The big guys are all offering stupid high wages and sign on bonuses and most have a decent benefits package. Right now a company driver would be a straight up fool to work for a small company. It's sad, but true. Going to be interesting to see what happens to all of these 80cpm company drivers when rates go down eventually. It's not sustainable.

Sell it, you'll never get more for it than you will now.

I’d put a driver in it but truthfully not being experienced you should sell it. Everyone is correct, prices for trucks will never be higher IMO. Cut the losses and learn that working with friends or family never pans out.

Except ...during the last upturn equipment was available and credit was flush ...that's not the case now , we barely cleaned out the auction lots from 2019 when this hit ....creditors that got stung in the 2018 boom will be shy with cash .
This might last awile as not every tom dick and Harry can buy equipment now .

My personal opinion, sell it. Two things to consider. One, you could actually profit from this sale as the lack of new tractor availability until next year is scarce causing more drivers to by good used trucks which currently has the value of used trucks way up right now. 2, like most companies, the biggest obstacle for everyone is finding good reliable drivers with a good work ethos nowadays. Save you expenses, sell the truck, save yourself for adding more stress in constantly trying to find good long lasting drivers and keep things simple. One truck, one driver….YOU!!!

    Sell it .

Its almost impossible to make any profit having someone else drive your truck.

you’ll make more profit on the truck going up in value over the last few months than you would make in three years with a driver tearing up your truck.

trying to find and hire a complete stranger and mess with the hassle of taking out their taxes etc just isn’t worth it
Any good driver with a good work ethic is already working or is going to find a larger company that treats the drivers good and has benefits and make $70k+

Good choice. If you can, let us know how much you sold them for. We keep hearing that used trucks are bringing more than usual and some numbers would be good to know.
