you had better plan on some people slamming on thier brakes for a fricking squirrel.

seriously, whether in my car, or when i was on the road, dimwits would stop in the middle of a state highway, or around a curve, for a fricking squirrel.

stay back, no need to be in a hurry. that rear ender you get into, even for a squirrel stopper, is your fault 1000%

But if more people would look not just go when it’s green, those red light wrecks may be avoided.
I thought i remembered if the light is green, you’re still supposed to look before you go, I do.
    remember the joke??

Two guys in a car drive right through the red light. "Man, you just ran that red light!" exclaimed the passenger. "Don't worry, my brother does it all the time," said the driver. They continue driving through town and then proceed to drive through another stop light.

"You just ran another stop light! You're going to get us killed!" screamed the nervous passenger. "Don't worry, my brother does it all the time," repeated the driver. Moments later, they approached a green light and they came to a halting stop. "Why are you stopping?" asked the anxious passenger. The driver turned and said, "Because my brother might be coming!"

You've heard of the Smith System right?

Cemex had a 6th key- "Expect the unexpected"

Wait until your first wrong way driver at 65 or 70 mph.

And the preacher said, you know you always have the Lord by your side
And I was so pleased to be informed of this that I ran
Twenty red lights in his honor
Thank you Jesus, thank you Lord…

Then you learned something... Ive had similar experiences myself. Just move on and make changes to prevent similar situations. Based on what you've learned.

I see truckers all the time tailgating with no thought about what if that vehicle in front of them slams on the brakes, for whatever reason.

Ever see one that the front end let’s go and the car is on the pavement skidding right now?

If one doesn’t commit to keeping a safe distance no matter what every day, it is just a matter of time. Can’t imagine having a motorcycle or family underneath my rig.

Stopping for that light would have been so simple….
