So I'm becoming a owner-operator and one thing on my mind is having basic amenities while on the road. I've seen Semi-trucks double hauling. Can we put a medium to small RV in between the semi-truck and trailer? Cause I've heard truckers parking somewhere else like on on ramp due to no parking and would be nice to have a good bathroom as well with stove and burners.

Sure ! Put a 35 foot 5th wheel camper behind the tractor, umm where are you going to hook the 53 foot trailer? Do less blazing and more thinking

Wan't talking about a 35 foot 5th wheel camper...Don't appreciate the sarcasm. The RV goes in front of the 53 foot trailer. Have you not seen how they hookup two trailers?

When you pull doubles the rear trailer is always the lighter of the 2. It would severely limit the size and weight you could haul.

You can get extended cabs with all that stuff. Idk how roomy it is, but heard they're like rvs. The problem is they're really only used in specialty hauls, like moving vans, medical, etc. If you want to haul anything, better off just getting a standard cab. Personally I'd go the company route for a year or 2 to get some experience rather than jump right into owner op unless you have a VERY good business plan.

Well, I don't mean to be rude, what do you want to do, work or goof off? It's not a vacation, and many find that out AFTER the fact. Many, possibly for financial reasons, want to combine work and home life in one big clump, and it's entirely possible today, with the "rolling apartments" offered, an on board bathroom would be nice, possibly adding thousands to your empty weight, if that's an issue,,but it's a shallow life, and you miss so much. O/O today? Your funeral, sorry, with the Ruskies invasion now, fuel going to spike, you ready for that? We get a lot of oil from Russia, so don't say "who cares"? Fuel goes up a buck, and it's entirely possible, that's $500-$1,000 bucks right out of your pocket, fuel surcharge, you say? Pass it along, you say? Good luck with that,,it's partially why we're in the mess we're in. Also, parking on ramps is illegal now in most states, and most other parking areas are not very "semi friendly". Your best bet is a Walmart, and even they have begun to limit trucks to ones that actually deliver there. It's a sorry state of affairs, and am amazed someone still wants to be an O/O today.

Just get a Kenworth W900L minimum 72” sleeper, so it’s got the couch and table.
Then the bunk is on top.
    TV, fridge, yada yada.
Of course all this costs extra.

Do you know what the frame of your average RV looks like? You'd pull your RV in half trying that. Make sure you take videos and put them on YouTube for our entertainment.
