I like to drive with just socks too. If I happen to have a 'tire check' within about 100 miles of my next stop I will just leave my boots on 'til I get there.

Baby wipes are the bomb, but my local municipality sent out a letter with their bill to please not flush them down the toilet as they are clogging up the sewer system. You can find the flushable baby wipes but they are way more expensive. If you care about the sewer system enough not to want to flush your baby wipes I recommend using those little sandwich baggies to put your used baby wipes into and disposing in the trash can near the restroom door on you way out.

.......and then my Doctor suggested that I rub cream in the general area at least twice a day for three weeks, and if conditions worsen that I should.....whoops! More unrequired needed info! :biggrin_2559:

I use Absorbine Junior on my feet after every shower and have not a athletes foot in years,...

I second the use of powders for the other funky areas,...

Cottonelle fresh flushable moist wipes. Does a backside good, not too expensive, and easily flushable.

Never underestimate the power of a shower.
I once did a bike race across the US with only baby wipes. Its a long story but in essence I stayed clean and healthy while some others ended up in the hospital for not taking care of the nether regions.
However a good shower is worth the time!

OK, at the risk of incurring the wrath of some of our members (or recent members,) I'm giving this old thread a bump. But I DO have a reason for it.

Now, not to get too personal, aw hell, I can't post this without it, because it wouldn't make any sense. Not that it probably will anyway. But if you continue reading after this warning, then you are on your own.

I have a problem with jock itch. I've had it for years. It comes and goes, just like a lot of other things do. It isn't that I don't keep clean, because I do. I shower every day, and sometimes twice a day. And I ALWAYS wash "down there." (In fact I've been accused of uh never mind. . .):biggrin_25523: I live in what some would consider a "hot climate" at least six or seven months out of the year. And the hot weather does create problems, no doubt about it.

Anyway, what leads to this post is this. I was wandering through a Big 5 Sporting Goods store a couple of months ago. I noticed a container that had what appeared to be deodorant in it. EXCEPT this was the most GOD AWFUL EXPENSIVE deodorant I've ever seen!

I got to looking at it, and it supposedly is a preventative/cure for jock itch! And it just goes on like stick Right Guard or one of those. Got to thinking about it and wondered why any good anti-perspirant deodorant would not work. I've been using Right Guard ever since, and have had no problems. A hell of a lot cheaper than the stuff at Big 5.

I was eating. Not now. :)

Don't resort to over the counter granny remedies. Tell your doctor. It's a breeding ground for bacteria and they got stuff that will kill it.

Until then, stay away from my sister! :biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559:
