We picked up a frozen load from Dallas Texas and took it to Salt Lake City Utah, I sit for 6 hours getting loaded and the broker text me and said he would get us guaranteed detention time, I delivered this load a day early, now the broker won't answer my text or my phone calls... He promised us detention time and he's not giving it to us, we tried to factor this load at RTS and they say this company is known as a rotten brokerage according to past dealings with them....
How can I report this broker? I'm going to file a complaint with dat load board and let them know how they conduct business, just maybe I can get them booted from the load board... The two criminal brokers are named Brittany and Kyle, beware they are criminals.![]()

First off I would invoice without the detention an see if they pay you. Maybe even an in-house quick pay. Try to get your money without detention. Sometimes the struggle of chasing these stupid brokers ain't worth itJudge and Kansas City Long Hauler Thank this.

This broker offers no quick pay, they have a net 30... When we booked this load we assumed that we could Factor it, however RTS has set us up in their app so now we can check to see if a broker is approved or not before we book a load...baha Thanks this.

Invoice asap an forget about the detention. Plus those slimy guys will pay like 150 for layover.
Hopefully you get paidKansas City Long Hauler Thanks this. -
$150 layover? I'll be impressed if we just get the money for the load, since I've asked about detention time they have cut off all communication....
I believe at some point we're going to have to get a law firm involved, thanks for your replies -
Google Voice.
New freebie phone number, call to get them to answer...
I deal with a broker who is a PAIN on detention.
IF you stays after they may pay, I usually don’t write in time, if I don’t get paid, I won’t let them either.
They’ve paid some, but then it’s 30-60 days because they say (customer hasn’t paid anything but the freight rate) -
I found out some more information about this company they require the driver to FedEx the bill of lading before they will even consider paying you, they no longer offer quick pay you have to wait 30 days for payment... RTS Financial says they are absolutely horrible to work with and they refuse to do any business with them due to previous problems, they have horrible Google reviews, Kyle and Brittany are the absolute worstChieftains Thanks this.

That sure sucks. Make copies of the Bol. Send it via FedEx. Make them sign for it.
An just waitD.Tibbitt and Kansas City Long Hauler Thank this. -
The fed ex thing is a weird now days but I don’t know any broker that would consider paying before they had the signed bills in hand.If you needed quick pay I would start the original discussion if they offered that.If you’re working with a factoring company part of the advantage with them is they have knowledge about brokers and can give you information about them before you take a load from a certain brokerdunchues Thanks this.

At 30 days file on the brokers bond. Include detention in your invoice. You have the text messages to support detention.
Accept what pay you receive, don't work for that broker again.
Good luckD.Tibbitt, Kansas City Long Hauler and Chieftains Thank this.
