I don't think I have any service failures. I once rage quit at Schneider turned the keys in at terminal and dropped the load right there. I had never been a problem before so I guess they let it slide. I certinaly appreciate it.

Safety is saying I have a service failure. My DM confirms I have no service failures.however one load has failure on it. I80 was closed and load was rescheduled but was marked as driver service failure.
    They won't remove it.

Had to go to chief operations officer to have it removed.

I have had several and everyone of the dang things were my companies fault. I told my fleet manager once to stop putting loads on me that are already late when I get them. I spent all day once in Ripon Wisconsin because the shipper was punishing my company for being late.

Oh I remember now, yeah schneider had those too, what really suck was if my student was driving, it would be on my record that the load was late because he prefer doing 45mph on the intetstate, and trainer weren't suppose to rush the student.

I had 3, 1 was my fault the rest, weather/student related. I never care much about it.

If i80 was closed, it wasn't your fault, unless you cause it lol I was in Wyoming today and i80 was close. I just message my manager but I'm pretty much still on time

Note to self. Never work for a company that has something as silly as service failures.

Let me guess. The same companies that have service failures probably subscribe to that dac deal?

Hot loads have hot money on them. When I was a company driver years ago, a hot load for me paid double the rate, which for me was $.88/mile. If it's paying the normal rate,it can't be too important, can it?

Service failures do NOT follow you, it's a internal way a company keeps track of how a driver performed. It is not sent to any company, hell companies cant even ask for it. They only thing they can do is verify you worked there, ask if any DOT reportable accidents and if you are rehireable. That's as far that can go in a official capacity.

This was strait from the HR manager when I asked a few months back about this.

I never realized so many decided to enter the career of trucking and have no sense of care for their on-time performance and/or personal pride in their work. Strange.
