I think he is transferring back to Crete... a laterally move not technically quitting

My cousin who drove for yall passed away lastnight, he was pulling into a truck stop near Texarkana, he suffered a massive heart attack as he was entering the truck stop and crashed into another truck. When they pulled him out of the truck he was dead. RIP David Haining.

Sorry for your loss. He's not driving a 62 mph blue truck anymore. He's up there with a fully loaded Pete running the heavenly highways now.

 

I hope he died with thoughts of bar b que and cold beer on his mind.

 

being cursed to drive a Pete for all eternity...sounds more like Purgatory or one of the outer rings of Hell to me

 

Condolences...I guess the bright side(if there can be on) is that he made it to a place where there was limited traffic. If it would have happened while on the highway, it could have been even more tragic.

 

I went to that place, while training with a Shaffer driver, 'cept that was before the super solo phase, so I had to do the driving. Not fun, but like your trainer, mine would not let me back it in there. I might have asked you this before: Was your Shaffer trainer's name Chris?
