Last time I was at Shamrock I posted boasting of the new wonderful staging lot.
Well there is a new receiving office as well.
As you all know, the old Shamrock didn't have bathrooms in the receiving area just porta jons.
Last time the new bathroom wasn't finished.
Today I saw, and visited the new bathroom.
It has a stainless steel toilet with no seat like they do in county.

Sysco tends to have those in their facilities. Fabricated sheet metal urinal, and polished stainless mirrors, too.

I spent the night at a shipper, arrived at 1045 for a 1900 appt, released at 0800 this morning. And my travel time to the receiver is 11:18, I've shaved it down to a 4 minute deficit. Hammer down!!!

I, Dave in AZ, have finally been given my BOLS six hours after my on time arrival.

    Praise God.

At least you're paid waiting. Most of mine was free.

They really count and open every box. So they hold us there just to be able to write on BOL what's missing. It's a sealed load, even if something is missing what is going to change for me? Get everything off and count them two days if you want and take it with the shipper. I was thinking what would happen if you ask your shipper for the lumper $$ for yourself and just take everything off your truck?

I've noticed the loads here and at a place called "Peytons" which is the Kroger overflow, are not only outrageously priced for lumper service, if the load is pre paid lumper, it gets unloaded in a fraction of the time as if you pay them. So the broker must negotiate it for a fraction as well, so they don't fornicate the K9 so bad.

Shamrock also has times when they just don't have enough guys too. They are pretty awful.
