Should be fine with twin xl. Pete or kenworth have long mattresses. I can squeeze a full set on there or I just use queen and "tuck, tuck, fold"![]()

Just one more thing to wash every week. I have a queen comforter and a queen blanket each folded in half and nested together, get in like a sleeping bag without the zipper. Stayed comfortable down to 04 degrees last winter with the truck shut off.

I used an oversized sleeping bag and pillow my whole career. Usually just lay on top of the sleeping bag and use a lightweight blanket for cover. Only got inside the sleeping bag when it was so cold, couldn't get the temp right in the truck, which was rare.

Oh, and remember as per DOT rules they have to be white. At least that's what I always hear at the truckstop counter from all the old timers, so it must be accurate.

If you are young in your early 20's freight-liner aint so bad. Think of it as a sleep setting that is for that age group.
You should be so lucky, when I was 21, my cabover offered a coffin sized sleeper berth, knocking the head for a nice migraine getting up in the morning. At least you had the dog house in them things to (Warm too...)use, just plaster the windows all around because it's not pretty. -
