What motor, what duty cycle?
-
Mack MP8

I’d start with what the manual says for the severe duty cycle and go from there. Pull samples and test, make adjustments if needed.

Pull samples at 10k and change accordingly.Lonesome, Arctic_fox and Feedman Thank this.

Every truck is diffrent. Im a severe duty rig that spends as much time in the dirt as on blacktop. My manual says oil at 10k and my samples agree. With T6 i can get about 13-14 before its shot according to samples.
A road truck thats always light always on blacktop and spends most of its time in nebraska? Ive seen them go 80K with samples giving a thumbs up on it.
Basically as was stated. Start with severe duty per your manual and go from there pulling samples every 5k you increase. Then as soon as your samples say your oil is shot. Cut 2500 miles off whatever that number was and use that.Lane=addict and Long FLD Thank this. -

This might be a good investment for you and your truck. -
Where yall recommend for the test?? West Texas
-
Probably strips all the additives in the oil.

I doubt it. It's a bypass oil filter. The MX13 comes with a centrifugal bypass oil filter similar to the Spinner II centrifugal filters.Lane=addict Thanks this.
