Actually drivers dont pay their salary. The owner does. Drivers never stay at a company long enough to pay anyone's salary

    Upinsmoke and Lonesome Thank this.

He’s using the old “direct labor vs indirect labor”, meaning the “support” personnel don’t contribute to keeping the company running.

Perhaps the next time he breaks down, the “support” personnel in the shop (the mechanic) should clearly point out the opposite argument. ;)

But dispatchers didn’t sign up to be available all hours. It’s not their job unless they were hired to be on the night crew.

I get that dispatchers can be crappy. But they’re a spoke in the wheel same as the drivers and everyone else. In a perfect world everyone would get along. But we know that won’t happen.

    Upinsmoke and Lonesome Thank this.

I think everybody COULD get along if certain people didn’t suck at the job they’re paid for, and that goes for all involved parties.

That’s almost funny enough to have Jeff answer the phone at 3 in the morning for truck issues where we used to work at. Lol.
