I've been running nights locally for quite some time. It would be nice to hear someone talk back once in a while besides the weirdos in the garage with the ten foot antenna. There are a couple of these cellar dwellers in the area I run every night and I'm tired of talking to them.
Should more drivers use their CB?

CB should be a federally mandated regulation requirement installed in all bigrigs.
Diesel Dave, asphaltreptile311, rabbiporkchop and 1 other person Thank this. -
once again have had a few shipper's and receiver's in need of a cb recently, if I can come up with a secure install, I might put mine back in, the strap that holds it down in a little cubby hole design doesn't work very long, I'd also have to run a new cable/antenna, they don't work.

If someone doesn't want to run one, that's their stupidity, but the only time I'll ever be without mine is when my truck is getting worked on and I have to drive someone else's pig sty that day.DDlighttruck Thanks this. -

Get the bolt on ant mount and run to ur coax up to the cubby the pieces just pop out. Grab the bottom pannle piec at a corner where it ends by the windshield. Pull that down your hear a loud snap. Don't worry you didn't brake the truck. Once you do that you can route your coax right into the back of the cubby.
For radio and antenna recommendations I'd recommend listen to @rabbiporkchop vs myself on thatdca Thanks this. -
I recently got a radio, but I keep it mostly turned off/down unless I'm coming up on a city or mountains. Too much BS to listen to. And rolling through Dallas the other day, everything was drowned out by that stupid rooster recording...
