In trucking most take a shower every other day and some wait longer then that.Sometimes its hard to get that shower in but one should have babywipes for a quick fix.

Hoe's bath once a month and a bunch of Stetson cologne works for me......Think of the environment do not waste water.

The stright dope, You can shower when you need to dont sweat the small stuff, being from a powder background I ve had to deal with being dusted out by loads, You can find a way.
I carry a shower waterbag for emergencys. add water hang it on something, this is really nice for a early am morning shower in Montana or wyoming in the winter time. -

fascinating question: diversity of irregular routes & lanes, mixed with Company drivers & fixed fueling stops. probably somewhere between: everyday to 3 days. To the driver whom likes it once per week.

i am not dissing w.h.o.,whose posts i enjoy reading,i am only sharing my exploits and because i am not running all the electronic junk,my situation is certainly different than many drivers out here.
you can stay as clean and fresh as you desire out here but there will be some kinks thrown at you from time to time.w.h.o Thanks this. -
But yes since I am on elogs I have to trip plan and decide if taking a shower tonight is worth the hassle of traffic, customer, etc.
We all been there, a customer miles away from the interstate. No rest area nearby not even a weigh station to do a 10. Its either go to the customer, spend my ten, or stop 2 hours away to the nearest truck stop and waste 100-120 miles.janda c Thanks this. -
Always keep baby wipes and body powder on hand, just cause you never know what the day will bring, I also keep a five gallon bucket on hand for a trash can, it has other uses too.
janda c Thanks this. -
No excuse. Even if there's a wait time.
And driving 11 hours is driving 11 hours. You cover the same ground. If it took you 13 hours to drive that 11, you're still stopped at the same place. If you're dropping a load that shift, then be smart, and drop the load first.janda c Thanks this.
