shower frequency

Easy to shower on a 30min break as long as you don't stop at Loves.

 

Every time I bum a loves for a shower I get the run around wtf

 

I'm only the road four days a week but every single day. Tuesday morning at home, Wednesday night where I stop in South Dakota, Thursday afternoon in Sioux Falls, and Friday night when I get home. That Wednesday night shower is the most welcome one by far.

I always kept 2-3 one gallon bottles of water under the bunk for those days that I couldn't make time for a shower. I had to have at least a bird bath and a shave every day. I don't know how other drivers went about this.........but I could often tell by their smell some times. I had a trainer that was the king of slobs. I don't know how people can live like that.

 

I keep a gallon jug of tap water, wash cloth, towel and plastic ice cream bucket on hand. If I'm at a rest area for the night I can heat some water in the microwave and do a pretty decent sponge bath. It's not a full shower but if you aren't able to get to a TS (my 30 breaks are usually taken at a shipper/receiver, not a truck stop) that jug of water comes in very handy.

 

i had a female dispatcher complain once cause i stopped to shower so i asked her if she showered that day ..well yeah she said ...so i replied thats good cause if no one in that dispatch room showered it would smell like a bunch of wet heifers in there ...CLICK .

 

What's wrong with the way a wet heifer smells. Smells line money to me

 

Every saturday even if I dont need it

 

After every time I touch a lot lizard, so about five times a week.
