I got reprimanded by a bum in Charlotte last week at that stupid little Pilot.

He says “Can you do a brother a favor?”

I say “ I’m just trying to get fuel”.

He says - “I didn’t ask WHAT you wiz doin -, I asked if you could help a brother out!”

Well. Excuse me for not listening.

I told him I was kinda busy, and off he huffed.

What amused me was the other black gentlemen in the truck stop that looked straight through him like he didn’t exist when he tried the “Hey man, wassup” tactic with them.

i never gave away any of my shower tickets. back in the day, i only needed a $5.00 deposit for the towels.

i held onto them for many reasons,

    1) i will need them, as i did not fuel everyday, but wanted to shower daily

    2) some drivers DO NOT fuel up at that particular truck stop, they just park there

    3) some truckers spend thier "truck money on stupid things like getting the cb radio tuned, rather than take care of themselves.

    4) some driver SELL the shower tickets they get after fueling, now they want a free one..?? to do what, sell that one as well..???

    5) screw'em...take care of #1...let #2 take care of itself....

next, you will be approached at the fuel island by either a male or female asking for gas money cuz they are low on gas and no cash, and need to get home....

no one rides for free..........in my book, i earned what i had, and just never gave it away...

until my ex............then SO MUCH was given away.......

I just got home and found a huge packet from WA state child support enforcement. They want my financial records from the last 2 years to adjust my payment. The ex quit working a year ago and is trying to get on disability and makes $0 so I’m going to get totally reamed.

i do believe that you can make adjustments as well to her final award of SSDI payments. talk with your lawyer, don't assume too much right now.

but cooperate with what they want, THRU your lawyer!!

give your lawyer proof of your living expenses as well.

    good luck.

I had something similar happen to me at the Pilot in Tolleson, AZ. I was fueling, and this very good-looking young lady comes to me in a running outfit, and asks me for a shower. So I walk inside the store, and hand her a ticket. Minutes later I see her outside the store talking to some people. My thoughts are that she expected to be given $12 for a shower and didn’t know lots of people have unlimited showers at PFJ.

Get one of these, then when someone knocks on your door at a truckstop, sloooowly raise up into view while chewing on the severed arm.

Travel plaza on I-95 at New Haven. Exactly same story. I walked over to the car and told her man to turn the key on. They had half a tank.
