Showers OTR $$$

Your shower credits are good for 7 days, so you can have extra showers if you want. You get 1 shower credit for pumping 50 gallons or more at most truck stops. T/A Petro you have buy 60 gallons or more

 

Yup. Only thing that sucks with being long range imo. Ill get 2/3rds of the way though say pilots free shower program and get sent to an areas that its all loves or petros.

Also i dont recomend focusing on TA like...ever their showers are always nasty AF

 

I have not hit shower power with the new truck yet. I also do not stay out for 4 weeks . I only fuel up at the cheapest place while considering the cost of a shower if not at a Flying J or Pilot. Sometimes I have to get creative and stop a few times to get 50-75 gallons to make sense in savings. I guess it is not a bad problem to have at this point in life.

 

You need to learn a little bit more about the basics of trucking and get a little more creative. Read this, then read it again. There is NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING offered at a truck stop that you can afford to buy everyday and compare it to a home budget.

I walked down the snack aisle at Speedway the other day and a $2 back of chips was $5.50. If you really want a laugh price a quart of oil or a bottle of windshield washer at a truck stop.

Quit giving these crooks your money. They get enough of it when you buy fuel.

As stated above they have a captive audience and they are lucky that the world is full of lazy people and big companies with fuel contracts.

And since when did you get a $12 shower. Last one I bought, which is very rare but I did recently, it was $15.

 

It's strange because I have loved just about every Petro I've been to but TA is hit or miss. My company has me fuel at TA or Petro and I just try to get 60 gallons and then get to the next one and get 60 more gallons to stack the free shower credits.

 

Yea petros are usually pretty nice save 1 or 2 standouts. But TAs are always just the absolute worst most disgusting places.

I used to buy fuel just to get a shower and free coffee. Certainly never paid..

 

Almost nobody is paying for a shower. You get shower credits for buying a certain amount of fuel. 95% of showers are free because of this.
