Single serve coffee

What's he buying? I buy the 5 cup Mr coffee for under 20 bucks I've never had a problem with them. I currently have the mainstay ( Wal-Mart brand ) $9.89 .
I've never seen a single cup maker that wasn't incredibly expensive per serving especially those kuregs. Not to mention they're very high wattage, you need a fairly large inverter to run' em.

 

I've tried the Maxwell Single they weren't to bad till they changed their beans. Matter of fact Maxwell House was my favorite until they changed their beans.

 

Yup.

It's heavy on the weak sauce, but... yup. It'll compete with the brown water Loves calls 'coffee'. (small wonder you can get it for free... Lol)

'Them'? More than one?

I have a WalMart Special Black & Decker 5-cup. Thing's AT LEAST 11 years old (I had it in VT before relocation to ME). It'll be used tomorrow. And the day after. And the day after. And the day after. And the day after. And...... well... you get my point. She's paid her dues.

 

Just get a thermos and fuel at Loves for free coffee.

I have that exact coffee maker under my bunk...once you get the exact water level for your size cup, it makes a decent single cup coffee maker, and it's cheaper than buying the filter packs or the folgers singles.

 

Starbucks makes single serving coffee called VIA. It comes in a variety of roasts, and all you do is pour it in, add hot water and enjoy.

 

Or cold water. One 16oz water bottle and two of those via packets and you've got some rather tasty cold coffee. Yes. Cold.. I know. But it's way better than nothing when you're parked in a rest area or outside the receiver and got about nothing in other options.
