    Don't give them ideas.

They were prototyping a chip in the cap of medicine bottles, especially pain medicine to see when it's open, shut or how many pills got out. (Don't ask.. some sort of RFID gone wild here....) every time it got touched, time and date stamped and get it close to a reader BIP! and a few moments later your sins are laid into the computer for all the see.

Learned something new about my compliance report.

When my old company paid for my physical, I only saw page one of my compliance report, which just lists the 7-day, 30-day, and total compliance percentage.

Today I went and got a DOT, paid out of pocket, to keep my CDL current. So I got sent a three page CPAP compliance report.

Page two graphs daily time used for the last 30 days.

    I did not know that.....

In other words, anyone who is supposed to be using it, and says they are using it, probably shouldn't lie to the MRO about it.

Because it turns out they CAN pinpoint a single non-compliant day.

I had a CPAP about four years ago. Wife complained to the doctor about my snoring. Went for the sleep study and it turns out I stopped breathing a number of times for 30+ seconds. I didn't know I had a problem, I could fall asleep before my head hit the pillow and would wake up 7 hours later not knowing anything. It was like I died for a number of hours.
After getting my machine and getting used to it, I now dream, at times I wake up laughing, some of these dreams are hilarious. Although I was sleeping previously the sleep study showed that it wasn't a proper sleep, now I have more energy and I am more alert.
The machine cost me nothing and had a radio transmitter attached to monitor the compliance. Provided I used it as instructed for three months the insurance paid for it. After the three month period the transmitter was removed. Every three months I can get a new mask (I use the nasal pillows as I sleep on my front) and every six months I get a new tube, water tank and filters at no cost and I have changed insurance companies a few times.
A couple of weeks ago I went for my medical for the CDL permit and had to get a compliance report. I took the memory card to the sleep doctor and he gave me a print out covering the last 12 months. Showed that I was compliant for 309 out of 365 days. No problem and I have a 12 month medical certificate.

that show was great. I didn’t notice it until I started watching Netflix and Hulu a year ago while recovering from an exhaust leak with my last company

I’ve been on my CPAP for about two years. Never have a problem getting a one year card, but I always take a copy of my report with me to show compliance. It might be helping my health, but I don’t sleep any better. I wake up several times a night. Have seen my doctor on a few occasions. He said the setting is perfect, but some people never get used to it. I fall asleep fine with it, but I always wake up a few times a night like I always have.

Coach? I love that show. Own all seasons they released. Hayden Fox is such a man. Not much of a football fan, but that show just cracks me up

I wake up several times a night due to truck air horns, hard brakes, and yelling and swearing from the driver seat... not from any apnea.
