I've driven 2 years otr, 12 months flatbed, the rest dry van.
I'm thinking of switching to reefers, but I'm concerned about the transition period, of getting used to sleeping with a reefer, nose and vibration.
For you experienced reefer guys, was the transition difficult? Any suggestions appreciated. TYIA.
Sleeping w/reefer hard to get used to it?

I use ear plugs. The grenand white ones from Walmart wprk very well. I have no problem hearing the alarm from my cell phone to wake up.

Thanks, guys. Does the driver have a choice of continuous or cycle? I mean, isn't that spec'd on the BoL by the shipper?

I sleep better with reefer. When I was on hometime didn't sleep as good. When I got back to the truck slept like baby.

Honestly in my opinion, reefers now days aren’t any louder than the APU you or your parking spot neighbors have.
