Yes, but we had a portable bar that could be placed either in front or behind the sliders to stop it where you wanted it.

If you’re a company driver pulling the same trailer all the time, have your company supply one.
If they won’t, just get used to getting in and out a lot.
I couldn’t get the other guys video to load but I’m pretty sure that’s just to help get the lock pins released on older trailers.
Newer ones use air.
