I tried Getloaded earlier this year.
I left it because the rates were always lower on that board than on CHRW, Landstar and ITS.
Slow winter?

I also dumped GL after a few months. Awkward interface and very few loads that weren't also posted elsewhere. Rates aren't really down for us, more a case of fewer good paying short runs to put together. That'll pick up in a few weeks.
windsmith Thanks this. -
You can thank our wonderful president for the people puckering up and hunkering down for the worst time in history since the depression ... thankyou Mr obamma!!!!!

I usually run a triangle from Idaho to South Carolina to Texas and back to home base in ID.
Two of those legs are direct freight, the third is spot market. I've seen a slowdown in all three more than usual.
Fresh cut flowers out of FL are paying over $4 if you want to take the risk.MNdriver Thanks this. -
Red you gotta be kidding GL is the easiest of all load boards to navigate and also the most up to date funtions they make ITS look antique.
You know they say einstien had a hard time tieing his shoes,,, maybe its so simple its hard for you ? -
Hardly. I was able to use it ok. The layout and methods just didn't appeal to me. Maybe because I'm not using Internet Explorer on Windows. Or maybe because I'm searching reefer loads instead of flats or vans. Or maybe because I don't depend on load boards as much any more. Who knows? Just wasn't my cup 'o tea. Actual content wasn't remarkably better or different than the others as well.
One thing I will say is that I truly despise technology for the sake of technology. GL has that problem, as does ITS. All the gee whiz crap in the world doesn't make the loads pay any better or get my truck posts noticed any more than they are already. It does bog down my system and make me wait a lot while the browser is constantly updating massive datasets over a mobile internet connection. Some of these app developers really need a punch in the throat sometimes. I favor simple and fast over feature bloat and bandwidth hog any day. If the data quality on DAT were better, I'd probably dump ITS too. For all that I don't like about ITS, it generally does show a lot less crap than DAT and GL. As in, fewer, fake, duplicate, or already gone loads to sift through in search of real ones.MNdriver and flightwatch Thank this. -
Fuel is up and rates are down! Plenty of cheap freight! Say no to cheap freight!

I ran 12000 in Jan and only one reset in Fresno, talked with another driver from my company on Sat in MD and he told me he had been waiting two days for a dispatch. I got another load 20 minutes later. I figure he mist have pissed somebody off but good.
