Thank you for posting that sign. This is one grade that will seperate the drivers from the steering wheel holders. That advisory should be taken as a warning.

    x1Heavy and truckdriver31 Thank this.

That explains why I didn't see any other trucks the day I was there...never made the connection!

Once @snowman_w900 was coming down a steep grade in waycross Georgia. He missed a turn and got lost in miller’s cave.

Of course there was that time we all was up on wolf creek pass, which is way up on the great divide. @shogun and Snowman was hauling chickens on a flatbed out Wiggins. We got to the top and @snowman_w900 took out a dollar cigar and took a puff. He said “my this pretty up here” I said “you guys mail a card to mother and let’s send them chickens on down the other side.” @shogun put down his bottle and mashed his foot down on the throttle. A couple of booms and a thousand cubes in a 1948 peterbilt came to life. I started to counting telephones poles added two and two, carried the four and came up with 22,000 telephone poles an hour. I said “Gun this hill can kill us, you better slow or you will spill us”. You guys remember that?

Thanks. The part about going from Tahoe to Sac had me looking and remembering in the wrong place.
I've never had a truck on that one and I forgot about it. Might be fun on a bike.

I spent six months in the hospital after Clifton Flowers shot me, and his daughter ran off with a heavy hauler from Zanesville.

We skimmed that top layer of chickens off the top. Problem is the trailer came loose, gearshift came off in my hand, and I lost control.

I remember that. Y’all went around and down and ran out of ground, and crashed into the side of the feed store in downtown pagosa springs.
