I wanna say starting in 22 or 23 trucks had longer fairings. They addressed this in a weekly update a few years ago. My last truck was a 21 and I fit between the fairing and trailer just fine, got a 25 and its tight. Still, haven't managed to rip one off though so![]()

I keep thinking I am gonna throw my back out on the passenger side doing a Creaffer Terminal Yoga fill up pose at the terminals since we can't be trusted with the handle locks anymore.Lonesome, Lonwolv54, Friend and 1 other person Thank this.

When did they change the nanny wellness check to 12 hours instead of 24? Do we have that many drivers with one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel that they have to check in every 12 hours? In 32 years, I have never had any other company feel the need to do that.
Knucklehead, Lonwolv54, Friend and 3 others Thank this. -
Gives them more time to re-power the load in the unfortunate case of someone having a grabber.
And because they care.

This Crete load I’m on loaded at Home Depot. When I scaled it had 39.9 on trailer,27 on drives, and (with many years experience )spaced out thinking 40 was the limit. Moved it back a couple holes, and took off.It dawned on me that I may have screwed up after a few hundred miles.I had to enter a scale house where they stopped me on the scale, then green lighted me.Im gonna scale and make sure anyway. When I did so was 37.5 on the trailer.Oops! After moving the tandems all the way back I got it down to 34.7,and am 2 miles from delivery.####,am I lucky!ncmickey, Lonesome, Knucklehead and 3 others Thank this.

Are they calling your cell phone or sending messages over the tablet or both?
And what about when you get long runs where you can get a 34 reset in and still make your delivery on time, are they going to do 2-3 wellness checks on you during that time too?
That would get really annoying, that seems excessive. People often become truck drivers so they don't have to deal with normal micromanagement that most jobs have.Knucklehead, Gearjammin' Penguin, Friend and 3 others Thank this. -
They’re complaining that the pumps don’t shut off…by law those pump shut off is supposed to work and instead of fixing the issue they go the way they went.Knucklehead and Gearjammin' Penguin Thank this.

They message the tablet first, if no reply, they call, if no answer then local LEO's are called to do an in person wellness check.
If they interrupt my sleep on a 34, they're gonna get a rather offensive outburst from a sleepy driver and then they get hung up on.Friend, Lonesome, Knucklehead and 5 others Thank this. -
I just log into the eld the office can see when I’m logged in and out. Kinda my subtle way of telling them I’m alive. If I do a 34, it’s rare for me. Sometimes I don’t log out, forget to.Friend and Knucklehead Thank this.
