It started in our Walmart the day after Halloween.

@supersnackbar is there anything legally you can do cause seems like it’s obvious that the dog wasn’t physically attacking them. I would think that would be animal cruelty charges

She called the cops, but unless she could convince them that his Rottweiler was dangerous there is little they can do because it happened outside our fence. If they believe the Rottweiler was a danger they could remove it and euthanize it (which I would volunteer to do for free and save the county a few bucks). About the only thing they could do is get him for reckless discharge of a firearm in public. It's a good thing I am not home daily because if it happened in front of me like that, I would be in jail. As pissed as I was yesterday I would have dropped him and his momma's dogs from my front porch. At least now I have cooled off some and can plan a foolproof plan to see that the Rottweiler has a slow and painful euthanizing that they can't pin on me.

I got a message from our Ops manager yesterday telling me that if my receiver wasn't able to unload me on Thanksgiving that I would be routed to Wilmer to t-call the load and pick something else up. But a few hours later I get a delivery appointment for Friday evening to unload it, so his plans changed. But to back it up, I have a preplan to pick up a preloaded trailer in Dallas that delivers in N. Platte on Sunday. Now the tricky part, east of York, NE they're calling for 3-5" of snow, so it looks like I take the scenic route across 70 then up the US routes instead of Salina to York and across 80. If it all works out and I make delivery, I will have gotten over the 12,000 mile threshold for the 1st time in a while. Salina and KS west of there is only expecting rain.

Good luck over the holiday weekend. Be safe out there. The idiocy factor is strong this month

Sorry about the pup. It’s a shame we aren’t allowed human euthanasia, this would be a great reason for it.

Northern TX between Amarillo and Chillicothe on 287 must be expecting some frozen precipitation. The road is so pretreated that you can barely see the pavement. Sorta looks like the black and white striped prison issue from the silent movies
