Snackbar is chillin'....at Shaffer

I've only had it go worse than this once and that required a trip to the ER...and I knew what I did to it then.(drywall texture on the 9' high ceiling of an addition where I use to live). It took 2 people to literally drag me out of the back seat of our car and get me in a wheelchair. But 2 shots, one pain killer, one muscle relaxer and I was fine and dandy. And it's all mostly muscle spasms...I'll just blame it on this Freightliner... haven't #####ed about it much lately.

 

Found out today that ALL D.O.T. inspections, clean or with violations have to be sent to Lincoln. And, a clean Level 3 is worth $25, plus 2 good safety points

 

Not sure. I only found out about the level 3 pay when they sent a confirmation message to me saying they received my inspection.

 

Well, I am picking up in one of the more back-road loacations I've been to...or at least it seem out there...I hear some banjo music in the distance. Picking up in a cave warehouse north of Neosho, MO. It really isn't that far from town, but the little road doesn't seem big enough for trucks. And the docks are outside backed up against the caves. Some sort of dry freight going to the ice cream plant in Covington TN. Based on what I see in the Crete trucks pulling out of here, it looks like boxes of some sort.

 

I thought Kenan Avantage was a tanker company....

 

I was the only Shaffer there. There were 3 or 4 Cretes there when I got there. Once they got me to a dock they loaded me quick. But then I had to fight the tandems to slide, but thankfully they had a abundance of large rocks around the cliffs that gave me a good tire chaulk.
