Me too. I’ll have the #4 and #37. It’s really easy.

My opti-idle came on twice today, in heat mode when it was 80+°. I ended up having to kill the power with the main cut-off to get it to work right. I can't wait until my vacation pay is available, and I can find a company with 50-75 employees.

    Jarhed1964 and JoeyJunk Thank this.

once you go to a shop and have your truck's ecm updated...@iraqralph43 posted a picture of the list of what they're changing...it isn't good for the driver...but on a positive note, no changes are planned for the terminals in regards to their a/c temperature settings or high electricity use. Nor will any of their 'in-office' perks be affected in order to save any money. All the cutbacks are reserved for the revenue generator's equipment and comfort.

Our system doesn't have the OBC type system, it has something called a PCG...that's why, when you do an OBC reboot on our system, it gives you the screen I posted because the tablet is looking for a connected OBC to reboot.

According to Peoplenet, it's 2 different systems. Onboard Computer, or Peoplenet Connected Gateway.

Wow, my opti-idle system is getting worse at a faster pace. Maybe it's bad enough they can find out what's going wrong now. Sitting here killing time waiting to start my day (load delivers to a Walmart D/C at 14:30 today). The truck starts on battery mode (it did cool down after midnite enough that I didn't need comfort mode). Both a/c systems also began pumping out cold air...then, after 15 or so minutes, it said F'it, and with the temp control on both systems cranked to the coldest, it just went into no a/c heat mode out of the blue. I thought it was my coffee pot generating heat at first, but then I felt the air coming out of the sleeper vents. I am actually starting to miss my old Mack Pinnacle from WyMoore...it rode just as bad, and was noisy, but it's issues were far less menacing than these Junk-liners.

Lol as you are well aware it can always get worse…I don’t know why companies persist and believe the battery operated APU’s are worth anything. Most users report frequent issues for all brands, I hate that manufacturers now only sell to fleet management who has never likely spent an evening in a truck.

Oh well, soon you’ll be off to a new adventure so this to shall pass.

Just like a kidney stone....and I endured 2 of those. (Maybe it's more like a bad case of hemorrhoids, which is more synonymous with my experiences with the way things go here)

They're slipping into the gates of hell closer every year. Each wildfire season burns more and more and soon, it'll be one big burned out empty shell
