Takes some nerve to steal out of a company terminal. A couple years ago seemed like trailers were going missing weekly out of Marietta. Usually dry van. I assumed they were just company drivers grabbing the wrong trailer but who knows.

    Knucklehead and Bumper Thank this.

Dang. Looks like we both got hit today with it, what I didn’t include on my post was the loader and shipping manager looking at each other like two little kids that didn’t eat the last cookie. “Sir your truck weighs 35,000 and you can only haul 45k, you now have 43k on it, HOPE YOU CAN HANDLE IT”

    Lonesome and Knucklehead Thank this.

Some of the extra weight might be pallets, but I only have 30 pallets (according to the b/l), so even if they're CHEP pallets, that's only around 1500 lbs max. I just hope that when they unload me I don't have an extra pallet or two of product that they didn't order that got loaded by accident. I have hauled out of that customer many times and I usually don't get a load this heavy out of there.

    Lonesome and Rugerfan Thank this.

Just left Lincoln. I was talking to the guy who does the inspections at the fuel Island and he mentioned that he had a driver yesterday that came in that had three flat tires and didn’t even know it… One drive tire that was off the beads another drive tire that was at 60 psi And a trailer tire completely flat…

####...the driver's seeing eye dog didn't notice the flat tires when it was peeing on them during their walkaround I guess.

Lonesome, Rugerfan, cdavis188 and 2 others Thank this.

They had me on 2 preplans, sent to me while I was in conference with my pillow. One picked up out of our drop yard in Channahon and delivered in Melrose Park at 17:00, then they sent the same load they sent yesterday to Henderson NC, but instead of a live unload, it became a drop. With me delivering 1st thing this morning then having to wait until 17:00 to deliver #2, I would have used most of my hours today delivering 2 loads and wouldn't have enough hours to run enough miles on the Henderson load so that I had enough time to deliver there tomorrow evening and still have enough clock to make it to a truckstop that might have a parking spot. Besides, after getting the #### kicked out of my back driving this apple cart across I-70 in Indiana, my back feels like I am tarping flatbeds again, so I am really not in the mood.

    motocross25 and Knucklehead Thank this.
