We deliver to SW on occasion, and while I can't speak for their drivers' pay or conditions, I will concur that access to many of their stores does indeed suck the high hard one. I've rarely seen a paint store that was designed with deliveries in mind.Lonesome Thanks this.

When I was at Poly, we would occasionally get offered multi-stop deliveries to Sherwin Williams stores. Most were back parking lot, manual pallet jack unloads, never saw an actual dock. Some were easy, some were a pain.
Lonesome Thanks this. -
I had a few of those before too. Delivered in the parking lot. A lot of my Harbor Freight loads were like that too.atruckr Thanks this.

I don't think we do them anymore.
Only sherwin Williams I've been to in the past
3 years at poly is the big distribution center
In Reno.
Haven't seen those crappy store loads in forever.
I could be wrong though. -
That Reno DC was the final stop...Roswell NM was a PITA...it was an uphill unload and the receiver just sat there while I tried to pull a full pallet of the big rolled poly by myself. I don't miss that.Dale thompson and Western flyer Thank this.

I called on a local job back in So Cal and asked what the shift hours were and was told that when you finished your load you came back to the terminal and were expected back in he yard 10 hours later. So I if you were quick and got back at 2pm they wanted you back at midnight. I LOL and hung up.Lonesome Thanks this.
